American Duchess Historical to 1940s reproduction shoes with modern comfort. High quality, leather shoes reproduced from original vintage shoes.

Hotter (UK) – Amazingly comfortable vintage-inspired heels and loafers. Ships free (USA included) with frequent sales/discounts. Many styles come in wide and extra-wide widths. The sandals and boots are equally comfortable.  New styles in spring and fall.

Chelsea Crew – Popular, affordable, vintage inspired heels, boots, and loafers.

Betty Page Shoes (Amazon Page) – Tall pinup heels in cheerful colors.

Muffy’s – Reproduction saddle shoes (website is usually broken.) They have listings on the eBay shop.

Keds – Classic flat sneaker Keds shoes have been around since the 1920s. They are popular for dancers even with the light rubber sole. Choose “The Original Champion” for a timeless style.

Miss L. Fire USA and UK – Carried by many retailers, these Made in Italy shoes are full of color and personality.

Harr Shoes (DE/UK) – Historical custom shoemaker for theater, dance and the general public.

Penahaus (FR) – Sturdy loafers, mocs, wedges, heels and sandals. Men’s shoes too.

Popping Candy (AU) – Cute flats and adorable heels for vintage-inspired dames in the AU, NZ and now USA.

Memery (UK / DK) – 1920s -1950s reproduction leather heels

Charlie Stone Shoes (AU) – Flats that look like heels. Many shops in the USA, UK and AU also carry them in-store to try on.

Apple Jacks – A new brand for Lindy and bal-swing dancers. 1910s-1930s styles currently.

Saint Savoy (AT) – Shoes for dancers. 1920s and 1930s heels and Oxfords in unique color combinations.

Bloch– Standard dance shoes- ballet, tap, jazz, character, etc. Many vintage styles in black or tan.

Bleyer (UK)- Swing dance shoes for women and men

Slide & Swing (ES) – All leather men’s and women’s dancing shoes inspired by the 1930s and beyond. Low heels, Oxfords, sandals, and loafers.

Swivells (FR)  Etsy Shop – Colorful shoes and boots to dance in. Designed by swing dancers and offered in a variety of happy colors. Very well made.

Dancestore – Men’s swing dancing shoes in vintage 1930s to 1950s styles, both semi-formal Oxfords, loafers and casual “sneakers.” Non-dancers can wear these shoes, too.

 

Men’s Vintage Shoes Brands

ReMix Vintage – Men’s quality shoes in mostly ’40s and ’50s styles.

Johnson and Murphy –  Since 1850, they have made classic men’s shoes. Oxfords, wingtips, saddles, patent formals, lace-up boots, sandals, and more. Wide widths, too.

G.H. Bass – Since 1876, they have made classic men’s shoes. They usually have a great two-tone saddle shoe and loafer in their regular line.

Muffy’s –  Reproduction men’s saddle shoes (1920s to 1960s). Stock remains on eBay.

Spectator Shoes 4 Men –  A nice assortment of two-tone shoes and boots in the vintage 1920s to 1940s styles

Walk-Over Vintage Collection – A small collection of men’s boots, shoes, and sandals from the 1900s to 1960s.

Converse – Just like Keds, Converse All Stars sporty high tops and low tops are vintage classics!

Undandy –  Unique customer designed shoes. You could play with the Oxfords and adjust the colors to get some vintage-inspired shoes.

Forzieri (IT / USA) – Very high-quality men’s two-tone shoes. As worn in Boardwalk Empire.

CreepersCustom (Spain) – Handmade customized creeper shoes and Oxfords.
